The first project I worked on at OYO was the Brummo student dormitory project. My responsibilities included design and sketching diagrams for the client. What made the project particularly interesting was the presence of a historic old dance hall in the center of the plot, which was under heritage protection. Many parts of the dance hall had to be preserved, while at the same time, the specified number of apartments/rooms needed to be accommodated on certain floors. I created different scenarios and also worked on the garden’s landscape architecture.
